Murder Ballad follows Sara, a young woman caught between two very different lives. Once deeply involved with Tom, a reckless bartender, she eventually builds a stable life with Michael, a thoughtful NYU professor. But the pull of her past proves difficult to resist. When Sara secretly reconnects with Tom, old passions resurface and the boundaries between past and present begin to blur. As the affair intensifies, she is forced to confront the cost of longing for two lives at once.
