Aida

14 - 16 March, 2016
Yonsei University Centennial Hall

Director, South Korea

An epic tale of forbidden love caught between duty and freedom.

“Every story is a love story.”

Aida tells the story of an enslaved Nubian princess and the forbidden love that changes the fate of two nations. When Aida is captured by Egypt, she finds herself torn between loyalty to her people and an unexpected romance with Radames, the Egyptian captain betrothed to Princess Amneris. As war between their countries intensifies, the three are forced to confront impossible choices between duty, power, and love. Set against an epic backdrop of political conflict and personal sacrifice, Aida explores how courage and compassion can transcend even the deepest divisions.
